Today I’m joining up with Lindsay over at Lindsay’s Sweet World for her monthly link up. This month the prompt is Thanksgiving! So I thought I’d share some pictures from years past, and share some past blog posts. I’ll be posting the knit pumpkin cozy next week. 🙂
Thanksgivings of Years Past
Thanksgiving is Matt’s absolute favorite holiday. He loves that other than going to someone’s house for food, there are no other obligations. Last year was the first year that we didn’t go Up North for Thanksgiving. Since the cottage was flooded (and unfortunately still is. We will no longer be going Up North which saddens us), we volunteered to host. Since I love having parties I didn’t mind at all.
But, let’s take a look at some of the years past.
2012
So in 2012 I was pregnant with Annabelle. It was a very mild Thanksgiving so we took some pregnancy pictures.
2013
Annabelle first real time Up North, and her first snow! Typically it is pretty cold Up North over Thanksgiving.
2014
Another snowy Thanksgiving! Annabelle had a blast sledding. 🙂
2015
In 2015 Autumn joined the party (but I don’t have any good pictures for the blog). Annabelle also helped with the annual cookie baking. The day after Thanksgiving we always spent all day baking Christmas cookies.
2016
Another snow Thanksgiving! I also made the girls coordinated dresses… back when Annabelle would wear dresses.
2017
No great pictures here (I must have forgotten my camera, or battery or something). But here we are ready to hit the road, back when I had purple in my hair. I miss my purple hair, but since my hair is so dark it’s a pain to do.
2018
Our last year Up North for Thanksgiving. We didn’t know it at the time, and I just realized that Aubrie never got to be Up North for Thanksgiving.
2019
I have no idea why I don’t have more photos from November of 2019… but alas I don’t. So you get this picture of a cute little center piece.
Phew. I didn’t mean to post that many pictures, but I fell down the rabbit hole of looking at old photos.
Past Thanksgiving posts
So I thought I’d share a few of my favorite posts from last year.
I’m thinking of bringing back this back for this Thanksgiving, or maybe even longer. I loved this link up.
