We are already at the last Friday of February! Can you believe that?? This week has been kind of slow in both everyday life and the blogging department, but lets take a look at some of my favorites from the week.
New chalkboard design
I finally erased the Thanksgiving chalkboard and put up a St. Patrick’s Day one! Nothing too fancy, and it’s a little bit crooked, but I am proud of how it turned out!
New fridge!
You know how I can tell I’m old? I’m excited about our new fridge. If you remember my post back in summer, our garage fridge bit the dust. Then, our kitchen fridge slowly starting breaking. Nothing major, but drawers didn’t close nicely, shelves had to be repaired… so we got this one. And I am excited.
Video chat with friends
I’ve mentioned it before, but this pandemic has been pretty hard for me in terms of seeing my friends. I am for sure an extrovert, and while I wasn’t going out all the time I did try to hang out with friends (sometimes with kids, and sometimes without) every so often. Even though I’d much rather see them in person, being able to video chat has been great.
Cutie patootie
I ran to the bathroom and came back to Aubrie sitting at my computer. I love how it looks like she’s blogging.
Biggest “icicle” ever
While I know this really isn’t an icicle, it’s still a huge chunk of ice. We pass a preschool on our walk to take Annabelle to school. One day as we were walking by we noticed the drain pipe was completely incased in ice. Obviously the drain pipe was not working properly, but the girls and I still thought it was pretty cool (no pun intended… hahaha).
Latest book read
I finished The Awaking by Nora Roberts. It’s the first book of The Dragon Heart Legacy trilogy, and unfortunately the next doesn’t come out until November. In the book Breen discovers her mother has kept millions of dollars from her. She uses the money to go to Ireland in an attempt to find her father, and finds a land filled with dragons, fairies and more. I enjoyed the book, and am sad I have to wait for the next one.
And there you have it! I am really hoping that Matt and I can finish up the molding in the downstairs playroom today so we can start figuring out how on Earth we are going to organize it all.
Incase you missed it, this week on the blog:
