Another week down, and another weekend here. This week was actually pretty good, but it’s always nice to make it to the weekend. It’s supposed to be pretty warm here this weekend, so I’m hoping to spend a lot of time outside.
I’m not going to do any headings like I normally do for my Friday posts, but just going to share some random things that I liked from the week. 🙂
We have been learning about why leaves change color so the girls made these trees. It kept them busy for over an hour, which is a win in my book.
I made some yummy homemade chicken noodle soup that the girls didn’t eat.
I got my craft on this week for sure! I whipped myself up this awesome t-shirt (get your free cut file here)/
And I finished Autumn’s Halloween dress! I love how it turned out. It’s hard to see but there are pockets at the hip (where her hand is).
And….. Thumb holes in the cuff!!
On Wednesday it was very windy which caused some leaves to fall. So today while we were soaking in the mild weather the girls asked me if I could rake some leaves for them to jump in. I figured I may as well, and they had a blast!
Also, my daredevil toddlers made it pretty high on the rock wall. I was right there to catch her if she fell, but I was pretty impressed. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. She’s gonna keep me on my toes.
We also went on a walk, and the girls asked if they could bring bubbles. At first I said no, but then figured, why not? It’s not going to hurt anyone. And they had a blast blowing bubbles while we walked the neighborhood looking at Halloween decorations.
My goal for this weekend…. finish deep cleaning the kitchen and do a massive downstairs clean. I’ve done some of the kitchen, but still much to do. I hope that everyone has a fabulous and restful weekend!
