We made it to another Friday. Thankfully the weather hasn’t been quite as hot so the girls and I have been able to spend some time outside, not in the pool.
What we’ve been eating
Sunday: hamburgers and hot dogs
Monday: spaghetti
Tuesday: grilled steaks (the dangers of sending a husband to the grocery store is that he comes home with steaks)
Wednesday: pulled chicken sandwiches
Thursday: choose your own left overs
Friday: left over chicken sandwiches
Saturday: homemade pizza
What I’ve been crafting
I’m excited that I’m getting back in the grove of crafting. I’ve been working on some fun Halloween stuff, that I hope will make it on the blog soon. The first is going to be an amigrumi witch, and the second is something super fun, that I’m going to keep secret for now. 😉
What we’ve been doing
Thankfully the heat and humidity haven’t been so bad in the morning so we’ve been trying to get out of the house. We usually go on a bike ride (while I walk with the stroller) but sometimes the girls talk me into go to the playground at the school.
How I’ve been feeling
I’m still feeling pretty overwhelmed with back to school. As of now everyone in our district will be starting remotely. They have changed things up so much, and it is very stressful. If there is no in person option for school I will be homeschooling. Some of my crafting has slowed down a bit, as I have been developing an apple unit for the first month or so of school. My goal is to have it on the blog next week so that others can use it if they need to. To see what I have done so far (and to get some free printables) check out my post.
What I’m looking forward to
Fall. Fall. and more fall. Even though college football is cancelled for MSU, I am still excited about the cooler weather, leaves changing color, and the cider mill. This years picture is going to look so different!!
