If your family is anything like mine, then you go through granola bars like they are going out of style. I mean they are easy to transport, tasty, and not incredibly terrible for you. Since we love them so much I decided to make my own, and am so happy I did. I hope you’ll love these easy no bake granola bars as much as my family does.
Making these granola bars is super simple. They come together in barely any time, and don’t require any baking.
Easy No Bake Granola Bars
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups oatmeal
- 2 cups rice krispies
- 1/2 cup flax seeds
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups mix ins (chocolate chips, dried fruit, nuts)
Instructions
- Mix oatmeal and rice krispies in a bowl. Then add the mix ins.
- Place the rest of the ingredients (except mix ins) in a pan and melt on the stove.
- Mix the melted ingredients with the oatmeal and krispies.
- Press into a pan that has been lined with parchment paper. Put in fridge for at least two hours to firm up. Then cut into bars.
My girls (as well as myself) absolutely love these no bake granola bars. They are normally gone in a few days, as we eat them for snack. We hope you love them as much as us!
