Hi! It’s me, Danielle!! I hope that everyone had a fantastic Easter. 🙂 This past week was Spring Break for Annabelle, so I decided to take a bit of a break as well. I’m glad that I did, since Easter afternoon into Monday both Matt and I felt pretty miserable. So terrible, we had to leave Easter dinner at my parents. I am forever grateful that they kept the girls overnight. I slept a good 12 hours, which is totally not like me (I’ve always been an early riser). Then on Wednesday I felt yucky again. Thankfully I seem to be better (knock on wood), but blogging didn’t really happen.
Now that I’m rested I’m ready to be back. Although it’s a week late, I figured I’d recap my March goals.
BLOG
~start using my planner again-Â I really had big plans to do this, but I didn’t….
~work ahead on my posts – Life was super busy, so that didn’t happen either…
~get Annabelle’s dress up– Another nope….I did get the Little Mermaid Cookies up though! So I call that a win. 😉
~keep working on improving Pinterest– I have been working really hard on this. There has been a bit of a slump, but everyone is talking about it, so I’m not overly worried about it.
~get a recipe up– I did get this done! I posted this yummy Antipasto Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. If you haven’t checked it out, go do that. It’s simple and tasty!
~new logo??– Yep, this didn’t happen either. It may be a bit before I dive into this, since it’s probably going to take some time, and I’m not particularly unhappy with what I have right now.
PERSONAL
~actually use my bullet journal– yeah… this did not happen. I’m starting to wonder if bullet journaling isn’t for me.  I want to like it, I really do… but sitting down to do it, just doesn’t seem to be happening.
~organize pictures– I was able to get this done, although I still have more to work on.
~continue chugging water/ eating healthy– I have been doing better at this. But I’m starting to tire of the snacks (nuts and cheese) I have been eating. What’s your go-to healthy snack??
~get outside more (if the weather warms up)– This hasn’t happened because the weather hasn’t been warming up. It feels like day 96 of January over here.
~dye Easter Eggs– It lasted like 10 minutes, but we got it done! 😉
Since we are already over a week into April, I decided to just skip the April goals. Basically I’m going to continue to work on chugging water and eating healthy. I’m also going to really try to get back into using my planner for the blog. I’d also love to check some more items off our spring bucket list. 🙂
