It’s hard to believe that Easter is Sunday!
ONE: Sick start to the week
Last weekend we went out to eat with my parents to celebrate my birthday. When we got to the restaurant Autumn seemed out of sorts, and wasn’t drinking her chocolate milk (totally not like her). So I took her out of the highchair to hold her, when she said “my tummy hurts” and them immediately threw up… into my hands. Thankfully Matt took her home, and I was able to stay and finish dinner.
The next day Autumn was pretty much better, except for a low grade fever, but Annabelle go sick. She got sick once, then was just pretty tired the next two days. I was thankful that she was fever free Tuesday, so she could go to school Wednesday (she missed the egg hunt on Monday). I am also thankful I didn’t get sick, since Annabelle and I shared a desert on Saturday. I thought I was doomed.
TWO: Roller Skating Fail
Remember that time I took the girls roller skating with my friend? And Autumn had a blast? Well we tried again (at a different rink), and it wasn’t quite as successful. When we went the first time she had those clip on skates, ad the second time she had legit skates. She pretty much cried the whole time, saying “I don’t like my boots”.
THREE: Art Show Win
This past month Annabelle has been learning about different artists in school. On Wednesday they had an art show, where they showed off all the art they created in the styles of the artist. It was so cute!
FOUR: MNO (take two)
So in the fall I planned a MNO at a local area resaraunt. I get there, only to realize they were closed on the day I scheudled the MNO. #majorfail. I finally tried again, and I am so glad I did! I went out with some ladies on Wednesday and had a great time. Plus I had a flight of mimosas, so that was awesome.
FIVE: Blogging break… maybe?
Next week I may be taking a bit of a blogging break. It’s Spring break for Annabelle, and I honestly don’t want to feel the pressure to get up a post, and I don’t want to just post to post. I’d rather use that time to do some behind the scenes prep work, so I can come back all refreshed! Sometimes a little break is needed to avoid burn out. I’ll still be active on IG and Facebook, so be sure that you are following me there!
I hope you have an amazing weekend!
