Man, I haven’t done a Friday five for a while! With MLK Day on Monday, then some mishaps with Annabelle’s PT we found ourselves home for two days! Let me tell you, it was glorious not having to worry about getting out of the house. In case you were curious, this is what our typical week looks like:
Monday: grocery shop in the AM and speech in the PM
Tuesday: swimming in the AM (this is Annabelle, Autumn, and myself)
Wednesday: PT in the AM
Thursday: Dance in the AM
Friday: Do all the things I couldn’t do during the week
The Weekend: try to relax
When things come up and we have to cancel something above I usually have no desire to try and reschedule. I just let it be.
But, today is Friday, and hopefully this weekend will be restful. But enough of all of this, lets get to my Friday five!
In case you missed it here is what happened on the blog this week.
I finally shared my Taco Bake recipe, and
I shared my first crochet pattern!
The most exciting thing (at least to me) is the new look. It’s not a major overhaul, but enough to make me happy. I’m sure the look will be changing slightly as I figure out what I like and don’t like. I am also working on creating an e-mail list, so be on the look out for a subscribe button. 🙂 What kind of things to you like getting in the email from your favorite bloggers??
Soo…. I’ve been crocheting more lately. I really find it fun, and hope to do more tutorials and projects on the blog. Besides the arm warmers pictured above, I made a heart headband for Annabelle that I hope to share with you next week. It’s a super easy project that would be great for Valentine’s Day. 🙂
Are there any crochet projects would you like to see?
We’ve been getting crazy weather here. The other night it was thundering. In January. In Michigan. Not something we are used to. Then we woke up to icy, icy conditions. Then it was cold, then today it was actually sunny, and nice enough to go outside for a quick walk.
Yes, Annabelle brings her baby and stroller with her whenever we go on walks. This is also the first walk when Autumn actually walked. It was so funny seeing her toddle after her big sister.
If you follow me on Instagram (and if you don’t why aren’t you! Just click the button in my sidebar) you may have seen my conversation heart patterns. Stay tuned next week, when I share with you all sorts of fun activities to do with those candies!
I honestly have run out of things to say! I hope that you all have a safe and fun weekend! 🙂
