I hope that everyone had a great weekend, and a happy 4th of July to those who celebrated. We had a fun time (although, different that the norm). Here’s a recap of our week last week!
Sunday, June 28
Sunday was kind of a lazy day at home. We didn’t do a whole lot besides swimming and relaxing. We also made some homemade pizza, which is always good.
Monday, June 29
On Monday the girls and I headed to a new park in the area. The park is new, and handicap accessible. Thankfully it wasn’t too crowded so staying social distance wasn’t too hard. The girls had a blast! I scheduled a play date with the families who will be in Autumn’s preschool next year. A few people came, so it was nice to meet them.
Autumn also rocked an 80s vibe hair style with a side pony crimped from wearing a braid over night.
Tuesday, June 30
On Tuesday we headed to a local nature area to snap some pictures.
Then I decided we may as well go check out a local beach. It was a little small, but it was free, and the girls had a blast finding shells.
That afternoon the girls earned a prize for reading, and went with a milk shake. I gave Aubrie hers in a bowl (since it can be hard for her to use a straw with thicker drinks), and she loved it.
Wednesday, July 1
We really didn’t do to much on Wednesday. We played around in the pool a lot in the morning. Later in the afternoon we were hanging out on the couch and I could tell the girls were tired. Although they claimed they weren’t, the picture proves that was a lie….
Thursday, July 2
Today we went to my parents so I could do a little laundry. Our washing machine broke (thankfully it is fixed now).
Saturday, July 4
Nothing really happened on Friday, so onto Saturday. This 4th of July was a little different than normal, as my parents’ neighbors didn’t host their annual party. Instead my dad shot off a little display. We still had a blast.
Sunday, July 5th
On Sunday Aubrie woke up at 3am and couldn’t fall back asleep. So I snuggled with her on the couch until 6, when she was really up for good. It was another lazy day at home.
For snack I let the girls paint the cookies that went in the goodie bags for Annabelle’s birthday.
