**I have working partnership with Goldfish Swim School. While they provide me with complimentary lessons, all thoughts and comments are my own.**
So it may be after Valentine’s Day, but it’s still February, so I say that it’s still the month of love, and therefore I want to share my love of Goldfish Swim School.
ONE: Warm and welcoming (and clean) facilities
I love how welcoming Goldfish Swim School is. When you walk in, you are greeted with friendly front desk staff. They always have a smile on their face, and are genuinely happy to see you. I am also impressed that they always remember both of my daughters’ names, since lots of kids come to class. The changing cabanas are great, and they even have a family one big enough for everyone. They also have a great viewing area of the pool.
TWO: Coloring
Sometimes we get to swim classes early, and have some down time. Goldfish has paper and crayons to help occupy little ones. This is also great for if you have one child in class, and another child waiting.
THREE: Amazing instructors
I’ve talked before, but it bears repeating, the instructors at Goldfish are awesome. They know the strengthens and weaknesses of each child and work hard with each child to improve. With smaller class sizes it’s easy for each child to get quality time with each instructor.
FOUR: Ongoing lessons
Lessons are based on sessions, or seasons. As a teacher, I know to well that if you don’t practice a skill, then it doesn’t stay sharp. By having ongoing lessons, not only can students stay at a level until they are ready to move one, they have multiple opportunities to practice.
FIVE: Time with my little one
I love the one on one time I get with Autumn. She usually get dragged to all of Annabelle’s things, but doesn’t really get a lot of her own time. She loves swimming so much, and I love that I can focus on her.
SIX: Warm water
The water (and air in the pool area) is 90 degrees. If you’ve ever swam in a cold pool, you know how amazing this is. Espcially with the temperature outside is in the negative numbers.
SEVEN: Water safety
Water safety is so important at Goldfish. Every lesson includes skills such as getting out of a pool, and holding onto the side of the pools and walking with your hands.
As you can see, Goldfish Swim School really is an awesome place for kids to learn how to swim. See if there is one around you!
