Thank goodness for Friday! Lately I feel like I have been go, go, going with little time to just sit back and relax. Then, my mind is going a mile a minute, so I have a hard time sleeping.
Please tell me I am not alone in this!
Here’s hoping the weekend can give my mind a bit of a rest. 😉
Onto my Friday Five!
ONE: BLOG RECAP
Y’all, I actually blogged every day this week! Not sure how that happened (o.k. I know a little… staying up way past my bedtime). I’m hoping that I can continue to post 4-5 times a week, but I’m not 100% sure how feasible that is.
If you missed it:
I shared with you my newborn must haves
Gave a sneak peak of something fun coming next week
Talked about why I am ready to break up with breastfeeding
and of course, partied with my co-hosts at Idea Box
TWO: FOOTBALL
In case you didn’t know football season starts soon! I play fantasy football with my hubby and our friends and draft day is Saturday. I can’t wait for this season. I can feel it, this is my year!
And of course more importantly, it’s time to cheer on my Spartans!
Also, as I was searching for a good MSU football picture, I stumbled across these gems from my senior year… TEN YEARS AGO!? I look so young… my goodness, I didn’t realize how old I am….
THREE: SO MUCH SEWING
If you’ve read my blog for a while (or follow me on Instagram) then you know I love sewing. I have started a very bad habit of starting a bunch of different projects at once.
This is my sewing “area” (I have everything in pile in the living room, then have to set it up at the kitchen table when I want to sew. Then put it away again when I am done. I really want a craft room).
There is a little bit of everything going on! A Halloween dress (size 6-12 months) I need to list on Etsy, the starts of a new Spartan dress (using a new design), tulle, so much tulle. I made Autumn a smash cake skirt, and am planning on another skirt (or maybe dress) for her actual party. I’ve also started making Annabelle a Halloween costume. I hope to do a tutorial so, be watching!
Needless to say I need my mom to come over so I can have a long, uninterrupted sewing time.
FOUR:FITNESS
A while back I posted that I was doing the Bikini Body Mommy Challenge. In all honesty I didn’t have a whole lot of weight to lose after having Autumn. Staying active during pregnancy and breastfeeding helped a lot.
I am happy to say I lost 8 pounds and a total of 8.5 inches! I think I am more happy about the inches lost than the weight (although that’s nice too). I’d love to lose a few more pound, but more than that build more muscle. I am now a little lost that I don’t have something to follow! Do any of you have any free suggestions (that I can do while the kids are up). Looking for some cardio and weights.
FIVE:FUTURE ENGINEER?
I think we may have a future engineer on our hands.
I hope that you all have a restful weekend!
