So we are already 15 days into June, and I just realized that I never did a goal post. So here is how I did in May, and what I hope to accomplish in June. Better late than never though, right?
BLOG
~Strive for two blog posts a week: didn’t quite accomplish this. Some weeks I did get two posts done, but some I barely got one done.~Post one recipe: Not only did I do one recipe, I made two!
You can get to the Rice Krispy Treats (made with homemade marshmallows) here.
And check out this delicious edible monster cookie dough.
~Post one craft: didn’t post this one either… I had a craft I did, but just never got around to posting it.
CRAFTING
~ Sew sun hats for the girl: I started to, but the first ones I made where waaaaaayyyy to big, so I need to redo it.~ Sew Aubrie a dress: I sewed a dress, and also made a cute tie-dyed dress for her (and shirts for the girls and me).~ Use my silhouette: I did this too! You can see what I made here. PS it comes with a free SVG file. ~ Crochet something: I finished this bunny, and I love it!
PERSONAL
~ Be mindful about what I eat and drink: I have been doing better about healthy snacks, and limiting alcohol. ~ Give myself grace: Some days are harder than others, but I think I have been better this month.~ Drink enough water: I’m doing good on this too. When I remember it’s not hard for me to drink water. ~ Clean up my inbox: This was my biggest win. I had soooooo many unread junk mail. I deleted so much, and unsubscribed from a bunch of stuff. And I have been able to keep in cleaned up!
For my June Goals, I’m not going to split them up into sections. It’s summer, and after three months of quarntine I’m going to go a little light.
~Have a “90s” style summer
~Sign up for summer reading program
~ Create my own summer reading program
~Cook/Bake some new recipes
~Look back at old blog posts and remake to take better pictures
~Do crafts
~See how much time we can spend outside (this will continue through the summer, and maybe the rest of the year).
