Thank goodness it’s Friday. This week was definitely long. All Wednesday I kept thinking it was Thursday. It made for a sad day when I realized I was wrong. I totally meant to get another post done this week, but alas, that did not happen.
So this Five on Friday is just going to be a totally random recap of what’s been going on the past few weeks!
One: What I’ve Been Working On
I finished the crochet bunny (aka amigurumi) bunny I had been working on. Overall I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. I plan on making some tweaks and making a second one so that I can put some step by step directions on the blog.
Two: Outside, Outside…
We have been trying to spend as much time outside as possible. It was pretty rainy here for a few days this week, and that sucked. So whenever the sun is out, we head outside to play.
Three: Zoom with Friends
While usually I am using Zoom for Annabelle, this week a few friends and I used it to chat. I miss people so much, and while it is not the same as in person, being able to chat with some of my friends was awesome. Our Governor did loosen the stay at home restriction yesterday, and we can now gather in groups of ten as long as we keep up social distancing. I see an adult only bonfire in my future.
Four: What’s been on the Menu
Sunday: beer can chicken
Monday: beef and bacon gnocchi
Tuesday: fish for Matt and I, chicken nuggets for the girls
Wednesday: left over beer can chicken
Thursday: frozen homemade spaghetti sauce
Friday: grilled chicken drumsticks and thighs
Saturday: pizza
I am hoping to get the beef and bacon gnocchi recipe on the blog at some point in time.
Five: Have a great weekend!
I really don’t have much else to say, so I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend. I linked a few patriotic posts to those who would like to take a look.
And a big thank you to all who lost their life serving our country.
