It’s hard to believe that I am 38 weeks. Say what?! With both Annabelle and Autumn this was the last chalkboard I did, as they were both born a week early. I went into labor at 38 weeks and 5ish days with both of them. I wonder if it will be the same with this one, which has me freaking out a bit (read a lot).
How far along: 38 weeks
Baby Size: Baby girl is as big as a winter melon (or about 7 pounds)
Symptoms: I’ve been having some lower back pain here and there. And I’ve just been feeling a bit off. Yesterday I was have some wierd cramp like pains, but nothing regular. It’s been about 6 years since I’ve felt labor pain, since I never actually had any contractions with Autumn. My water broke, but labor never progressed (which is why I ended up with a c-section).
Movement: She is still moving around in there.
Miss Anything: Wine, not feeling out of breath from walking up the stairs. Be able to sleep on my back.
Best thing from the Week: I got to hang out with some peeps from the Detroit Moms Blog on Tuesday for a cookie decorating party. Then today I’ll be going to a Jingle Mingle with a bunch of the contributors. It should be pretty fun!
Big Sisters: They are getting so excited about meeting baby #3. Annabelle keeps asking me how many days left. In reality I think they are more excited about having “three sleep overs” with Mimi.
Getting Worried About: The fact that I could go into labor at any time now. I really hope to get through next week, as I have a holiday party with my Moms Club which is where the girls will get to see Santa. Annabelle also can’t buckle herself into her car seat (she is still in a five point harness). Since she will be moved to the back, she has to be able to do it on her own, since I can’t crawl back to help for 6-8 weeks.
