How far along: 29 weeks
Baby Size: as big as a butternut squash
Symptoms: No major symptoms here
Movement: Sometimes during the day it really feels like she is doing somersaults.
Sleep: My sleep is still good, thank goodness. I know soon I’ll be up at all hours nursing this little one. Thankfully my carpal tunnel isn’t quite as bad. My fingers are still a bit tingly, but no major pain.
Clothing: for sure maternity clothes. I need to get another pair (or two) of jeans, since I currently only have one.
Miss Anything: nothing to do with pregnancy, but my kids not being sick. I swear to you they have been sick about five times since September. They keep switching off who is ill, and I feel like I am losing my mind. This is still true today. This time it’s Annabelle’s turn to have a fever. And once again I had to cancel plans to see friends. All this sickness worries me about having a newborn in the house during the winter months.
Worst thing from the Week: Putting one of our cats to sleep. Since last Thanksgiving one of our cats had be pooping outside of the litter box. After going to a few different vets it was guessed she had cancer. She had been getting worse, and with a new baby on the way Matt and I decided it was time. When we took her in, the vet said that she was surprised she made it so long, and that we were making the right choice. Still didn’t make it any easier.
Big Sisters: Nothing new with them. Some days they get along, others not so much.
Getting Excited About: A time when someone isn’t sick in our house.
I realize this post is a bit of a downer, but I strive to be real, and this week has been a major bummer. Here’s hoping next week is better.
