Happy Halloween everyone!! I honestly can’t believe that it is already the last day of the month. I honestly have no idea where the time went, which will be pretty evident in the fact that I didn’t get many of my goals accomplished. In all honesty, it was kind of a crazy month, and I kinda forgot to look at my goals. Oops #fail. But none the less, I figured I’d take a look to see if I got any of the accomplished and share my goals for November.
BLOG
~ organize link parties I partake in: I started to do this, but then sort of forgot about it. Really what I want to do is get a list of all the monthly link ups that happen. I usually end up forgetting about them, then am disappointed I forgot to link up.
~ add categories/tags to old posts: another one I didn’t get to. I think I did like one or two?
~ try to maybe redo some pins?? (seriously, this is always so hard to do): every time I put this on my list, and every time I forget. I think the main problem is redoing pins often means re-doing pictures. And that often means remaking something.
~ finish making my seasonal signs and get them on the blog: Hey! Something I did!! In case you missed it, you can check out my fall/Christmas sign here! It’s reversible and I gave you a free .studio file so you can make your own!
~ get ahead in posts: Well I was ahead for like a week, then I wasn’t…..
~ fill out income/expense report: and yet another big fat fail. I really do need to get on this though….
PERSONAL
~ plan gallery wall for stairs: Ok, I’m crossing this off, even though I am nowhere near being ready to hang it. I honestly had no idea just how much work would go into planning this thing. When I started I didn’t have any frames and was trying to plan using common frame sizes. While it helped give me a small idea of what I would need, I came to the conclusion (after making a fourth plan) that I needed to bite the bullet and just buy some frames to give me a base. Now that I have a few frames, I’m trying to decide what other frames to buy. I’m starting to think that it may be easier to slowly add to it since it’s such a huge space.
~ drink more h2o: I have been drinking more water, but still feel I could up that a bit.
~ do some learning activities with Autumn: nope. I feel so guilty since I did so much more with Annabelle.
~ work on the fall bucket list: we have been working on our bucket list. I was going to recap today, but since some stuff was Halloween related, decided to wait a little bit longer.
~ sew a dress for Autumn (and put it on the blog): this did not get done. In my defense I did kinda make their Halloween costumes.
~ make a tulle Halloween skirt of Annabelle: I did not do this either, but that’s because Annabelle doesn’t really like how skirts or dresses feel when they move.
~ budget better for groceries: maybe?? I haven’t sat down to take a look at our overall cost for the month. I’d like to think we did better though.
So as you can see, this wasn’t exactly the most productive month. I think being in that funk really affected me. Then just trying to keep up with the cooking, cleaning, and in general momming, I had little energy for other things. Making that sign took a little more time than I thought it would as well.
But now October is over (well almost) and it’s time to look forward to November! I decided to take an easy on my goals this month since I know how busy life is going to be soon.

So there you have it! I hope if you go trick or treating you have a blast! It looks like the weather may actually be OK **knocks on all the wood** for us this year. In Michigan, we usually have to plan costumes so that we can fit several layers under. I’m keeping my fingers crossed the rain stays away, and we really do have a warm day!
