How far along: 17 weeks
Baby Size: weighs about 5.9 oz
Cravings: back to craving mac and cheese. And the past few days I could really go for frosty.
Symptoms: Besides just being tired all the time (which I thought I would be over with by now, since I’m in the second trimester and all), nothing else really.
Sleep: thankfully I have still be sleeping pretty decently. I do turn from side to side, but am usually able to fall back asleep pretty quickly.
Movement: lately I haven’t really felt anything that feels like movement. It’s still a little early, and we’ve been so busy, so I’m trying not to worry about it too much.
Clothing: in the picture above I’m rocking my maternity shorts, and just a normal t-shirt. Funny story. I took this picture at the new house (hence the no chalkboard), since I realized at like 7pm I still hadn’t done my weekly picture. I asked Matt if he would snap a picture, and thankfully he humored me. Although he did question my outfit… he’s not a fan of the shorts.
Miss Anything: real coffee and wine
Favorite thing from the Week: we closed on our new house! So, we have been in a frenzy trying to move all the things to the new house. My MIL has been helping which is amazing, since I don’t want to bend over all the time, and am trying hard not to lift anything too heavy. We finally broke down today and rented a U-Haul so we can make less trips. We have movers coming on Friday to take care of the heavy, heavy things, and our goal is to be done with everything else by then. Wish us luck!
Big Sisters: they are loving the new house. Thankfully it is keeping them pretty occupied, so they have forgotten to fight with each other.
Getting Excited About: getting everything moved to the new house so we can start living there. Although it is bitter sweet for me, as I am moving from the town I grew up in. Besides my four years at MSU this is the only place I have lived. I mean, I’ve been going to the same grocery store for my entire life! And I’m actually a bit sad that we won’t be going there anymore. We know the workers on a first name basis, and one year for Christmas, they bought Annabelle a cat lunchbox since they new how much she loved cats. Seriously, how sweet is that. I am also coming to terms with not living five minutes from my parents. The trip now is only about 20 minutes, so it’s not awful, but still. I can’t call my mom in the middle of makin dinner and say “ahh! I have no soy sauce, can I borrow some??” and have her bring it over to me. I know once I get settled, my nerves will calm down a bit, and I’ll start to get used to everything.
