Hello wonderful friends! I hope that this Thursday finds you all amazing. No I have not fallen of the face of the earth, or given up blogging. Life has just been super busy lately. Between trying to find a new house, and getting our house ready to sell I have not had a ton of down time. Really though, I have no idea how we have accumulated so. much. stuff.
Besides trying to move I have some other news to share…..
I’m pregnant with #3! Surprise!
To be honest, this was a little bit of a hard decision to make. After Autumn, my mind said I was done, but my heart did not. I prayed a lot about it, and every time I did, I just felt the pull to expand our family. So we decided to go for it, and I am so glad that I did. Since both Annabelle and Autumn were c-sections, this one will be a planned c-section. While my OB said I technically could try for a Vbac, that she wouldn’t recommend it.
I am currently 12 weeks along, and I hope that I can keep up with these weekly updates. With two kids running around, it’s a little bit more difficult to find the time do it.
How far along: 12 weeks
Baby Size: .49 oz
Weight Gain: 0 lbs so far, I think. I don’t get on the scale anymore, so I’ll know at my next appointment.
Gender: we don’t know yet, but we will be finding out. Mama is too much of a planner to wait.
Cravings: for the past few weeks I’ve been craving macaroni and cheese (which isn’t surprising, since cheese seems to be a theme in my past pregnancies).
Symptoms: Not a whole lot of symptoms. Don’t hate me, but I have never had terrible morning sickness with any of my pregnancies. I never threw up with Annabelle or Autumn, and it looks to be the same with this one. I was more nauseous with the other two, as I have had very little with this pregnancy. It does worry me a little, but I know it can happen.
Sleep: So-so, but not because of the pregnancy (well maybe a little, since I am sleeping on my side, and I am more of a back sleeper). My sleep is not so great because of how anxious I am about looking for a house and putting ours on the market.
Movement: I honestly felt like I felt something last week, but it very well could have been gas. I was super late to feeling movement with Annabelle and Autumn, so I’m hoping that I feel it sooner with this one.
Clothing: still in my normal clothes.
Miss Anything: Sangria, wine, real coffee. I’m just so sad I can enjoy a glass of sangria on the porch at the end of the day.
Big Sisters: Besides the constant, non-stop fighting they seem to be doing ok.
Getting Excited About: buying a house, moving into said house, selling our house, my next doctor appointment so I can hear the heartbeat and be assured everything is ok.
