**I am pleased to be partnering with Goldfish Swim School to bring you this post. While they are providing lessons free of cost to me, all thoughts and comments are my own.**
Well friends, it happened! Autumn graduated to the next level of swimming. The level that doesn’t require me to get a swim suit on *insert happy dance here*. Don’t get me wrong, I will miss that one on one time, but I’m so excited to see how she will do with out me there. And I am happy to report that, as of now, she is doing a great job listening and trying her best. Plus how cute does she look in those googles??
Now I know to some of you, seeing your 2.5 year old in the water with someone that isn’t you may seem nerve wrecking. But at Goldfish Swim School it isn’t. I honestly wasn’t worried about leaving her with her class, then going back to the parent viewing area. Autumn is in a class for 2-3 year olds with a teacher ratio of 1 to 3.
I know that all the teachers at Goldfish have gone through extensive training. They know how to work with kids. There are also lifeguards on duty, who watch from the deck of the pool. I know that Autumn is safe, and I really feel 100% comfortable with the new level she is in.
While she has only been in this new class for two weeks, I know that she is loving it. She is so excited to go to class. Autumn has the biggest smile when I drop her off, and is equally happy when I pick her up. She loves telling me about what she did, and often plays “swim class” at home with Annabelle. This tells me just how much she is enjoying her time at lessons.
If you think your child is too young for lessons, they probably aren’t. At Goldfish lessons start as young as 6 months! With summer quickly approaching I know how important it is for my daughters to have water safety skills, which are taught at all levels at Goldfish Swim School. Check here to see if there is a Goldfish around you.
