First off, I hope that everyone had a fabulous Father’s Day! It was pretty low key around here. We hung out at home, then headed to my parents for dinner. Nothing to crazy. 🙂
Second, I did end up finishing my dress this weekend and am pretty damn pleased with how it turned out. I made up my own pattern, and sewed a zipper for the first time, so all things considered a lot could have gone wrong!
I’m going to make a few adjustments to the pattern and sew a second dress, that I hope to have up on the blog sometime this month…but no guarantees. 😉
Third, I am super duper disappointed in my Target challenge this month. 🙁 I don’t know if it’s because the dollar spot didn’t really have a ton of stuff I wanted, or because I had limited time to shop, so I didn’t get to spend as much time as I wanted browsing.
I mean, I didn’t even snap any pictures (well I did take one of me in a romper, but it was pretty awful, so I deleted it) while I was shopping.
What did I end up getting?
A number matching game for Annabelle, as I am trying to find some new “quite time” activities for her.
And a new bra for me, that was on major sale (which I didn’t take a picture of).
I think my totally was around $7.
Like I said, majorly disappointing for me (but I guess not so much my checkbook).
Here’s hoping next month will be better!
