Happy Monday! I hope that everyone had a fabulous weekend. Ours was pretty busy, but we had a fun time. Particularly watching the Super Bowl
Friday
On Friday Autumn and I picked up a car load of cookies for the older girls first cookie booth. It was so cute watching her help load the cases into my car. She was bummed when I reminded her that she wouldn’t be helping at the booths.
Then Aubrie and I played a few games before picking up her sisters.
Saturday
We headed off to Lowe’s bright and early for our first cookie booth of season. I am always amazed how awesome the girls to asking if people want to buy cookies, giving change, and asking if they want to donate any boxes to the military.
After that we headed to my brother in law and sister in law’s house to celebrate some family birthday. A fun time was had by all.
Sunday
I, stupidly, drank way to much (since we were celebrating my birthday I gave myself a pass on the dry February), I had quite the hang over Sunday morning. Which sucked extra bad since we had Family Faith Formation bright and early at 8:30am. The topic for the adults was confession, which seemed quite appropriate.
The rest of Sunday I pretty much nursed my hangover. We finally were able to take the Christmas lights down outside which was great. The girls also wanted to make their teachers string art for Valentines Day, so I helped them with that. They did most of the hammering, and I was pretty impressed.
I also made some killer nachos for the big game. Which, since I wasn’t feeling great, didn’t get to enjoy.
Then of course Matt and I enjoyed the Super Bowl, while the girls watched TV in the other room. We were rooting for the Chiefs so we were happy! I hope that everyone has a super week!
