How are we already to last month of 2020?! Our Elf arrived last night, and I know the next few weeks are going to be bustling with excitement and anticipation. This was a year for the books, and I know we are all ready for a better year next year.
So, let’s take a look at how I did on my goals for November. I know that I didn’t do as great as I did in October, but some months are like that.
Blog
~ Continue to plan using my calendar for November and December : I have really been liking my new way of planning. Using sticky note tabs to write my posts on is such an easy way to keep track of what I am doing!~ Create new pins for old content: While
~ Reach 12k page views: So last month I hit 12,600 views, which is has high as I’ve been in a loooong time. And I really thought things were looking up. Then November 1st hit and my page views plummeted. I honestly think it was a combination of something was glitchy with Pinterest, which Pinterest changing things up once again. So I am changing the way I pin, and my views seem to be going up.
~ Posts I really want to get on the blog
-holiday bow: I didn’t get this one on the blog, because I decided to move it to December. – mulled cider: after trying a few variations I finally made one I liked! Get the recipe here, it will be great for the winter!
I also did this mulled wine.
– Christmas wreaths: I am loving how these turned out!
~ Work on getting ahead: I did do a good job of getting ahead for November a little. Now to work on getting ahead for December. ~ Remember to apply for sponsored posts: I applied for a few, but nothing yet.
Crafts
So I think I may have been a little overzealous in my crafting goals… but I had such a good month last month, I wanted to keep the roll going.
~Thanksgiving masks for the girls: I did get this done early on in the month.
~ Thanksgiving shirts/dresses: I didn’t end up getting to this. I didn’t have a ton Thanksgiving fabric at home, and I’ve been trying to curb my spending on fabric, since I do actually have quite a bit. ~ Waistcoat stitch mittens: I finished these mittens! I plan on getting the pattern on the blog sometime this month.
~ Crochet slippers: I got this done too! The pattern was not my own.~ Work more on Aubrie’s stocking: I have been working more on Aubrie’s stocking. I still have sooooo much to do, but slow and steady wins the race, right???
~ Start an Amigurumi elf: Nope, didn’t happen.~ attempt something with Fair Ilse knitting: while I haven’t finished my project I’m going to give myself a pass on this. I did start on a fun little cozy that I hope to finish and get on the blog.
Health
~ Carrying over the no booze during the week
~Work out 5X a week
~ Concentrate on eating healthy snacks (what are your favorites?
~ Drink enough H20
~ Do a gratitude journal for November
Yeah…. nada, zip, zilch here. November was kinda a shit show in terms of my health goals. In the beginning of November Aubrie started randomly getting up in the middle of the night and taking forever to fall back asleep. I opted for sleep over getting up at 5am to work out. Then I had some hard core anxiety. Like for almost two weeks I had a hard time eating and sleeping. Thankfully it seems to be better now, but November was kind of a wash. I’m hoping that December will be better.
Other
~ Plan a new Christmas mantel: I really wanted to purchase some new items for our mantel, but we ended up buying more lights for outside instead.
~ Create a new recipe??: I finally shared my Taco Enchilada recipe.
~ Come up with a new cleaning schedule, and try to stick to it: Nope.
~ create a check list for the girls’ bedrooms (they get so terrible guys. So. very. cluttered): I know what they need to do, but still have to get it typed up. I’m hoping to share it in January on the blog.~ Organize all the downloaded pictures on my computer: It took some time, but I got it done! ~ Stay on top of planning for Annabelle’s school: I was good about this for November!
Now, onto the December Goals, which will probably be a little on the lighter side so I can focus on enjoying the season.
