I hope that everyone had a fabulous weekend. Ours started out promising, but then our fridge leaked into our basement, causing it to “rain from the ceiling”, so that put a huge damper on things. At any rate, it’s a new month which means some new goals. Does anyone wonder how are we already to August? When the new year started did anyone really think this was where we would be at? My guess is no. Let’s take a look at my July goals, and what I am planing for August.
~ Try to get back to scheduling posts (i.e. have them done a day or so early): for the most part I was able to do this. Only a few days I finished the post the morning of.~ Get to 100 hours outside: I kind of fell out of the habit of recording our time, but I know that we got 100 hours outside. ~ Sew something: I sewed myself a dress! All I have left to do is to hem it.
~ Start planning some fall posts (yes, I know it’s still summer, but Pinterest and algorithms and such mean I have to do this soon): I already did post on how to use infusible ink (check the post out, it is so cool), and am working on some fun Halloween crochet items. ~ Get the girls to 8 hours read: They are at about 10-11 hours right now!
~ Create another wood sign (or something) using a stencil: I did not to anything with stencils. I did however do a few HTV, like this unicorn and a MSU shirt (which I just realized I never posted)
~Stay on top of house work: that’s a big negative
So let’s take a look at my August goals. Once again I’m not going overboard with them, and keeping them pretty simple. These goals could all change if our district decides to start the year off with virtual learning.
~sew Autumn a dress
~sort old photos (particularly ones from old blog posts)
~clean my craft room
~get back to eating healthier
~post 2 Halloween crochet posts
~make more progress in play room
~play with the infusible ink pens
