Is it really already October 2nd?! Seriously, September just blew by. I have already decorated the house for Halloween, and my brain is already thinking of what I will be doing for Christmas. I shared my mantel on IG ( I went from a way too big mantel at our old house, to a kind of tiny one here). If I can get my act together, I will show a few of the other Halloween decor I have up.
But enough about that, let’s see how I did on my September Goals!
BLOG
~ find my hole punch for my planner: I found it in some random box somewhere in our house. There are still boxes just all over the place, it get’s pretty frustrating when you know you have something, but just can’t place it. I was pretty stoked that I was able to track down my hole punch. I should probably note, that it’s not a three ring hole punch, but one that works with my Arc Planner I have from Staples. I make my own pages, so need that hole punch so that I can get my papers to fit.
~ organize planner a bit more: although not organized a ton, I was able to condense some items.
~ create an expense/income form: I created it! Now I have to fill it in.
~ make a list of monthly link parties: didn’t really get to this. I wrote down a few, but I know there are more that I want to participate in.
~ look over the top post for the past few months: yep! I’ve been going through to see which posts are my top performing.
~ remake blueberry coffee cake for better pictures: now that blueberries are helluva expensive, I can’t see me remaking this anytime soon. Maybe next year…
PERSONAL
~ work out: I am happy to say that I have been working out more. Although not consistent I watch a YouTube cardio video about 2-3 times a week.
~ clean up desktop: nope…still a mess
~ take some sort of family picture: another big nope, but that was on purpose. I realized October would be a better month to do that in.
~ clean out email: well I did, not it’s insane again.
~ go to the apple orchard:we def. did this!
~ party for Autumn: I wish I could say that I can cross this off, but we didn’t really do anything big. I did make her a unicorn cake, and we celebrated with just the four of us. Does anyone else have the problem of the younger child not having their own friends? Autumn isn’t in a preschool, so all of her friends are basically Annabelle’s friends. I am hoping to do more things with my moms club while Annabelle is in school, so that Autumn can hang out with kids her own age.
Here is the cake I made her. Considering I did it in a day, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I am trying it again so I can get it on the blog. My hubby thinks I’m a bit crazy, but what else is new.
Now, onto those October Goals!
