Today I’m joining in with some fellow bloggers for What’s up Wednesday! I haven’t done this link up in for-eva, since I usually forget. I’m trying to make it a point to actually use my blog planner more now. I also made a list of all the monthly link-ups I want to participate in (and usually forget because A. I don’t have it written down, and B. I forget when they actually do take place).
What We’re Eating
Sunday: Burgers
Monday: Nachos
Tuesday: Left over black bean taco bake
Wednesday: Baked Spaghetti
Thursday: Frozen leftovers (smoked turkey)
Friday: Stromboli
Saturday: Order a pizza- it’s Fantasy Draft Day!
What I’m Reminiscing about
Going up north last summer. We weren’t able to get there this summer due to moving. Here are some pictures from last year. Looking at them it amazes me how much the girls have grown!
Looking out at the lake with Daddy
Our favorite winery to visit when we head into Traverse City. Really, if you are ever looking to go on a wine tour in MI, head to Traverse City, and go the the Leelanau Peninsula. So many fun wineries. Plus some great places for cider too. In fact we have some cider from last summer that we will be enjoying after this baby comes out.
Some pictures by the lake during the golden hour.
What I’m Loving
Spending some time in the pool with the girls.
But more importantly, the fact that Fall is almost here.
What We’ve Been Up To
Just trying to survive this move y’all.
Growing a baby.
What I’m Dreading
The craziness of navigating back to school. Since Annabelle is in Kindergarten, it’s my first time needing to make her a lunch to bring to school every day. I’ve already decided that she is going to be helping me decide what to put in her lunch every night. Why not teach them young. I’m attempting to make some “lunch making stations” with bins so she can pick things out easier.
What I’m Working On
Ummm… what am I not working on…
-Football dresses for the girls
-Halloween dress for Autumn
-Halloween tutu for Annabelle
-Fabric Snack bags
-Fall and Christmas Wood Signs
– Getting organized with the blog which I started with this planning sheet
– Crocheting a scarf for Annabelle (I only have about 3 inches left)
– Starting a baby blanket for #3
Most of these things I am hoping to get on the blog. The easiest by far are the snack bags. I busted out three this morning in less than on hour. In case you missed it, I did make a planner (or in my case a calendar) and pen holder.
What I’m excited about
FOOTBALL BABY! The Spartans start their season on Friday! Then, play an away game, have a bye week, and play two more away games. We won’t be back home till the last weekend in September. We got screwed with our bye week last year too, so the fact we got screwed again makes me grouchy.
What I’m Watching
Not a whole heck of a lot of new shows. The husband and I watch Suits and Forged in Fire. We also watch house shows. Other than that, not much on. I can’t wait for all the shows to come back. Like the Good Place.
What I’m Reading
I just finished Girl, Wash Your Face (I know, I’m like the last person alive to read it), and I really enjoyed it. I’m not sure what to read next, so if you have any suggestions I’m all ears.

Not much actually. My go to is Mumford and Sons on Pandora. Sometimes I’ll change it up with some mainstream punk.
What I’m Wearing
Since it’s still pretty warm I’ll do sundresses. Also maxi skirts with graphic tees, although those tees will soon not fit with my growing belly. I really need to order some of these maternity graphic tees.
What I’m doing the weekend
Football baby! Friday night we will be cheering on our Spartans. Then Saturday Matt and I are hosting the fantasy draft party.
Here’s a throw back to 2005 when I actually got to go to the games. I loved sitting in the student section, and being a part of it all.
What I’m looking Forward To
All things Fall. For the weather to cool down. Fall is my all time favorite time of the year (in case you didn’t know). Jeans and a hoodie is just so comfortable. To start decorating (which I may do sometime this week). To figure out how to decorate our new house. Salted Caramel
What else is new
Annabelle started Kindergarten!
Yesterday was her first day, and it was only a half day. Today she will go full time! It is going to be really strange having her gone all day, but I am looking forward to some one on one time with Autumn before the baby comes.
I am also looking forward to the 1.5 hours of quiet I will get while Autumn is napping. People have asked me if I’ll have Autumn stop napping soon, and I just laugh. You better believe I’m going to make the most out of that time I have.
What about you? What have you been up too?
