I have hit over 20,000 page views! Thanks everyone!! It’s so much fun watching my blog grow. Thanks for all the support!
Today, I am finally sharing with you my Chicka Chicka Boom Boom craft I shared last month on Instgram. Are you following me? If not you should :), click here. I’m still trying to create a button… but it’s been proving to be difficult.
This is such an easy craft to do, and can be customized for older kids. Sorry if the following pictures aren’t that great, they were taken with my phone.
To start off I had Annabelle paint on her easel using just green paint.
Then, after the paint was dry, I cut leaf shapes out. If you have an older child, allow them to cut out their own leaves. I also cut out the tree trunk and some coconuts.
After everything is cut out, allow your child to glue everything to the paper. I chose pink paper, since it looks like the cover of the book.
I didn’t take a picture of the last step, but either cut out letters, or find letter stickers and let you child put them on the picture.
There are lots of options you could do with the letters. Spell a name, match upper and lower case, or even spell simple words.
And there you have it. An easy and fun craft to do with a great book!
