Now that we are going into week three of home schooling I wanted to share a free weekly lesson plan template that I created with you. I’ve been using it since school started and it has helped me stay on track.
I know that not every home school family looks the same. As a planner (and someone who is planning on sending Annabelle back when in person teaching starts back up) my teaching is kind of structured. After looking at the Common Core and Michigan Benchmarks (and some of the curriculum I know the school uses) I figured out what I wanted to teach Annabelle so that she will be on pace with the rest of her class.

This is a pretty basic template, but I like the set up. It’s easy to see at a glance what I hope to accomplish for the week. This is one of the few things I write in pencil. Many times things don’t get done, or I find that I may need to spend more time developing skills. I simply erase what was there and write my new plan.
I’ve included two PDFs. The first is one with blank spaces at the top. That way you can fill it in however you’d like. I hope some of you find this useful!
Also, if you are looking for a free apple unit, check this out! It comes with lots of printables and lessons.
