Firecracker Truffles {A Patriotic Dessert}

With summer upon us I wanted to make a fun dessert that could easily be brought to family gatherings, BBQs, or anywhere really. I present to  you Firecracker Truffles.

These firecracker truffles are a fun patriotic dessert that is easy to make. Great for Fourth of July (4th of July), BBQs, or anywhere.

It doesn’t call for a lot of ingredients, and making it is simple. Instead of doing step by step pictures I created a video.

Really, it’s just a matter of mixing all the ingredients together, rolling them into balls, and dipping them into melted candy coating. I’d say the most time consuming is dipping them into the candy coating.

So, take a look at the video below, then make your own!

As always I also included a printable recipe.  If chocolate is your jam, then you should totally check out my chocolate chip cookie dough truffles!  So very tasty!

If you are looking for any other Fourth of July fun check out some of my posts here and here.  Please note, these where from some of my earlier days of blogging….
