I absolutely love s’mores in the summer, but sometimes it’s just not possible. These s’mores brownie cups give you all the flavors of the classic summer treat in an easy oven-baked dessert. Fudgy chocolate brownies made in a cupcake liner, filled with a marshmallow that gets crispy and gooey under the broiler. Then topped with a graham cracker and piece of chocolate. It’s about as close to a s’more as you can get. Make some today, and impress everyone at your next BBQ!

How to make the S’more Brownie Bowl
Make your Brownie Mix
To start off, mix up your favorite brownie mix, then spoon the batter into a lined cupcake pan. Fill each cupcake liner about 1/3 full.
A mix for an 8 x 8 pan should yield about 10-12 brownie cups.

Bake them
Bake them for about 5 minutes less than what the recipe calls for.

Make a “Marshmallow Well”
Let them cool for a few minutes, then start making indentations in the middle of each brownie cupcake. I used a shot glass to do this.

Put in your Marshmallow and Broil
Now you should have a “bowl”. In each bowl, place a marshmallow (to make them even tastier try making your own marshmallows).
As soon as they start to turn golden, take them out. You need to keep an eye on this part, because if you ever used a broiler you know it can go from golden to burnt in a matter of seconds. #speakingfromexperience

Top with Graham Cracker and Chocolate
Once the marshmallows are toasted, take it out of the oven and let it cool a bit. Then put a piece of a graham cracker and piece of chocolate in the marshmallow, and you are done.

See how easy peasy this was? And they are just so tasty! So if you are looking to impress your guests at the next get together, whip up a batch of these! If you liked these, you should check out my s’more ice cream cone cupcake or this salted caramel smore brownie.
