So, Annabelle was just not feeling it this month. For basically every question she answered “I don’t know” or “What do you mean”. I tried to press her on some, but she clearly was not interested. Some of the questions were a bit higher level thinking, so I’m sure that has something to do with it too.
1. What does the word love mean to you?
“I love you.”
2. How do you want to spend Valentine’s Day?
Annabelle: I don’t know
Me: Are you excited about Valentine’s Day?
Annabelle: Yes!
Me: Why?
Annabelle: cake!
Me: What about cake?
Annabelle: I want to eat cake!
**For someone who talks pretty much non-stop from when she wakes up to when she goes to sleep, this was like pulling teeth!
3. Do you have a Valentine?
Annabelle: What does that mean?
Me: A Valentine is someone you really love.
Annabelle: Oh! Mimi, and Grammy, and Papa, and Daddy, and Mommy
4. How many days are in February?
Annabelle: I don’t know.
Me: Can you take a guess?
Annabelle: No
Me: Alrighty then….
5. How do you show someone you love them?
Annabelle: What does that mean?
Me: Well what do you do when you love someone?
Annabelle: You tell them
Not her best month, but you can’t win them all. 😉
