I hope that this Friday finds everyone well, it’s always nice when another Friday is here! Let’s check out how our week was!
What we ate
So, you may notice this week we had tons of leftovers. Whenever we smoke meat in the summer we always run the smoker to capacity, which means we end up with lots of left over meat. We vacuum seal it and freeze it to enjoy during the winter. Since we will be cooking two turkeys for Thanksgiving (one in the roaster, and one on the smoker), we need to clear out some freezer space.
Sunday: Choose your own leftovers
Monday: Left over Pepsi pot roast
Tuesday: homemade spaghetti sauce (that had been frozen)
Wednesday: Frozen ribs
Thursday: Broccoli cheddar soup and sandwiches
Friday: Choose your own leftovers
Saturday: order pizza
What I’ve been Crafting
Two or three years ago I bought some yarn with the purpose of making myself slippers with flip flop soles. I finally started working on them!!
Also, I totally ran out of the main color yarn, so had to get a different color for the front flap.

I am also continuing to work on Aubrie’s stocking I’ve gotten a tad bit farther now, and have one arm and one hand sewn on too. Since I can’t work on this when this when Aubire is up, I can only do it at night.

Other fun things
I am proud to say took picture for our Christmas cards, designed them, and ordered them! For the past few years I’ve been designing my cards in Canva with pictures on one side, and a little letter on the opposite. I can then have them printed right from Canva which makes the process so easy! While I didn’t use this picture in the card, I still love how it turned out!

On the Blog
In case you missed it, here is what was on the blog this week:

I hope everyone has a great weekend! I’ll see you back here Monday with a simple DIY wreath!
