I’ve been wanting to replace what we had hanging on our front door for a while now. We used to put up a wooden hanging decoration (you can find it in my holiday home tour), but every time the wind blew it banged against the door), I happened to be at The Salvation Army and saw a wreath so I snagged it up to create the inexpensive DIY Halloween wreath.
Here is how the wreath looked when I brought it home for Salvation Army.

To start, I took off the bows and spray painted it black. I knew I wanted to put a spiderweb in the center, after it dried, I started to tie black yarn on it. As you can see, I started all the yarn in the same spot, then branched out the… spokes… I guess I will call them.

Then I weaved yarn around those spokes. To do this, I tied the yarn onto one side of the wreath, then wrapped it once around each spoke. To end tie it to the other side of the wreath. I did this Seven times.

After, I added some decorations I got from the dollar store. I bought white flower, and spray painted them black. Please pay no attention to the footwear.

I also bought purple flowers, and some spider rings. I hot glued everything to the wreath and I was done! This inexpensive DIY Halloween wreath was so easy to make, I hope you found it inspiring!
