Phew. We made it to Friday! This week was a long one. I am sure glad the weekend is here.

Monday: Taco Enchiladas
Tuesday: Chose your own left overs
Wednesday: Stromboli

Thursday: Poached eggs and peppers

Friday: Order pizza
Saturday: Something grilled

What We’ve Been Learning

This week I decided I should slowly start getting into a routine with home schooling Annabelle. It’s a little difficult since Autumn won’t be going back until mid September, but we are making it work.

We have started doing some activities from my apple unit (click the link to get your free copy). Many of these activities can be done with all ages.

What I’ve been crafting

I am slowly finishing my friendly witch amigurumi. I am pretty impressed with how it is turning out!

I also created a new Hocus Pocus shirt, which I love. Like a lot. You can go to the post to get your own cut file to download.

Why does my hair look good at 10pm?

Why is it that as I head to bed my hair looks fantastic? But all day it looks pretty terrible?? Why??

What I am dreading

Saying goodbye to our cat Snickers. For the past two years he has be pooping (and sometimes peeing) outside the litter box. We didn’t know if it was behavioral (our other cat had done the same thing, but she had cancer) or if he was sick. We took him to the vet again yesterday, and he has lost weight, and the vet suspects that he has cancer. So now we wait for the blood results.
