Five on Friday

So, I am going to try to do a link-up.  I have never done it before and hope that it works the way it is supposed to.  Just in case, check out Darci’s Blog.

#1:  I watched my first pre-season football game yesterday!  That means the start of fantasy football and cheering on the Spartans (Friday, August 30th baby)!  My husband and I love football, and can’t wait to introduce Annabelle to such a wonderful sport (and to have her wear the darling dress I bought a long time ago)

#2: Fall is coming!  I bought Annabelle her “My first Halloween” onesie.  I can’t wait till it’s closer to the season so she can start wearing it.

#3:  On the topic of fall… it’s apple orchard and apple cider time!  I can not wait to get some fresh cider from the mill, since I wasn’t able to have any cider last year (I’m talking about the pure, unpasteurized cider).  I am also looking forward to going apple picking.  Last year due to crazy weather no apple orchards around me had any apples to pick.  It was a travesty!  I have gone apple picking at the same orchard for as long as I can remember.  I can’t wait to take Annabelle there this season!

#4:  Naps have become a nightmare.  No matter how long or how short I keep my darling daughter up, its a fight to get her to sleep, thus making her overtired.  It’s a vicious cycle.  When she does finally nap, I’m lucky if it lasts 45 minutes.  What makes it worse is that she had been doing fine, then all of a sudden, snap, no nap monster.

#5:  The zoo!  My cousin and her husband and son came up to MI to visit this week.  My parents and I took them to the zoo.  It was tons of fun.
