So, whoever thought Daylight Savings Time was a good idea, was clearly not a mom. Annabelle’s sleep had been going so great, then bam… we are back to early wake ups. Thankfully she sometimes takes one longish nap, which means I can usually push bedtime to 6:00/6:30 (she is still up at like 5:30 though, and when I feed her, she doesn’t go back to sleep like before). I’m hoping that by next week her sleep is somewhat back to normal (well, as normal as sleep is for an 8 month old). I am trying not to stress to much about it, and just go with the flow.
I feel like I have a lot to catch up on, its been a while since I posted.
Here are some more pictures of Annabelle in her Halloween costume. She made the cutest pumpkin!
On November 2nd it was the big game, MSU vs. UofM. Annabelle was excited to watch and helped cheer the Spartans on to a victory! The Paul Bunyan trophy is now back in East Lansing! It was a pretty great game. This is the third game in a row that the Spartan’s have not allowed the opposing team to score a touchdown. Pretty sweet!
Then, on November 3rd, Annabelle turned eight months old! I can not believe where the time has gone. She is getting so big, and is so close to crawling! Currently she does this cute scooty move where she will push herself forward with her left leg, then pause then scoot with the right. As soon as she can get her arms figured out I think she is golden. While I can not wait to watch her really crawl for the first time, its crazy to think I am going to have a mobile baby on my hands. Also, as you can see below taking pictures with my sign is a bit difficult. All Annabelle wanted to to was to hold wave, crinkle and eat the sign. I did the best that I could. I finally had to take the sign away to get a picture of her sitting still.
**By the way, the helmet is still going alright. No new news to report. If you are new to the blog and want to read about our journey to get a round head check out the posts under Annabelle’s Journey on the side.**
I also decorated the chalkboard in honor of Thanksgiving.
It’s hard to believe that it is already November, and that Christmas is next month! I love the holidays! The changing of the weather, peppermint mochas, the food, cookies, decorations, snow (yep I said it, I like the snow), music (any other crazies out there listening to Christmas music like I am?), and just the general happy feelings that come with the holidays.
Wow, ok, so I think we are all caught up now! Thanks for sticking around through the end of this somewhat sporadic post.
