We made it to Friday! Â Yay!
This Friday is extra special, do you know why?
Mimi is taking Annabelle for a sleepover!!
So, Mimi (my MIL) had been on vacation. Â When she got back she asked me if Annabelle would like to have a sleepover. Â So I said of course! Â The next day I asked her when she wanted Annabelle to come over. Â Her response made my day. Â “I was thinking around 10am. Â I’ll come and pick her up (she has a car seat in her car).”
Hell to the yes!!
Don’t get me wrong. Â I love Annabelle. Â But having a whole day where I only have to worry about one is pretty great.
**EDIT: Â She ended up coming home to sleep… she decided she wanted to “sleep at Baba’s house”.
So, on that note, on to my Friday Five.
I’ve decided to change it up a bit for this.  Hope you like it! 🙂
ONE: This Weeks Blog Posts
First off, let me just say, “the best laid plans of mice and men” (isn’t that how the saying goes?). Â I’ve been trying really hard to plan my posts in advance so I can include a variety of things. Â Sitting down to write said posts is a whole different ball game. Â I mean, right now (at 9:22pm) Â Matt is in the garage building a mini green house for his blueberry plants that came today. That is why I can focus on getting this post done (I’m hoping to get my next photography series post done today… but I also need to clean).
**Matt didn’t think he’d need to do this, but his plants came with leaves on them, meaning they aren’t dormant. Here in the good old state of Michigan it can still get below freezing at night, so that would kill the plants, which would be no good. So he had to figure a way to try to keep them warm….
TWO: Instagram
Y’all…I’m at 210 followers!! I can hardly believe it!
If you missed it (and if you did, you should totally follow me 😉 ), here are a few pics from the past week.
THREE: Jealousy
I really try not to let it get to me, but sometimes it does. I know I have a great life, but sometimes I see other people’s success (esp. in the land of blogging) and I am jealous. That’s not to say I’m not happy for them, I truly am, but that doesn’t stop the green monster from barging into my thoughts.
It says things like:
“Look at how awesome they are.”
“You’ll never be like them.”
I try to say a little prayer every time the devil tries to work his way into my life. A prayer for whoever I am jealous about (because chances are something isn’t so great in their life) and a prayer for myself, to remember the blessings I have in my life.
FOUR: Blogs I Love
So, I really want to try to spread some blog love around, so I’m going to try to share some (non ginomrous) blogs that I love:
Our Pretty Little Girls
Happily Ever Mock
Sweet Turtle Soup
It’s My Girls World
Really though… go check those blogs out. 😉
FIVE: TV
So… our DVR is filled with shows that I need to catch up on. I have finally caught up on Vampire Diaries (please tell me I’m not the only 30 something watching this show). Now it’s time to catch up on Grey’s. After that, Once Upon a Time.
P.S. if you are wondering what a mini green house looks like…
My hubby designed, bought materials and built this in a few hours… he’s kinda a big deal…. 😉
