I hope that everyone had restful weekend. After a bit of a rough week, the weekend actually went pretty good. I am pretty proud with how much I was able to get done this weekend. Now I hope I can keep up this momentum going!
Friday
We for sure had a busy Friday! In the morning we baked some pumpkin bread, made with homemade pumpkin puree.
I even let the girls crack the eggs… something that has been hard for me to let go of.
I also finished up some hairbows that have been on my to do list for quite some time. My goal is to get the cut file on the blog soon.
To finish of the night I introduced the girls to Matilda, which they enjoyed.
Saturday
On Saturday we spent all afternoon outside since it was so beautiful! I could take pictures of my girls playing in leaves all day long.
I finished knitting a little pumpkin cozy for a tumbler.
And I finished up my Halloween wreath!
Sunday
Sunday was a day filled with catching up on house work. I also sized down a sweatshirt for Annabelle’s Halloween costume, and finished the top for Autumn’s. I am usually done with costumes by now, but well this year… you know.
Matt ended up having to go to work at night, so the girls and I had a picnic dinner, while watching Double, Double, Toil and Trouble. Do you remember this movie? From 1993, with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.
I finished off the night trying to get ahead on the blog, as well as watching my all time favorite Halloween movie, Hocus Pocus. I’d love to know how old your kids were when they watched it. I’d love to show Annabelle, but worry she may be a bit scared.
Let’s have a fabulous week friends!
