Sorry for the radio silence on the blog the past few days. After a rough weekend, and a rough few days, things are finally starting to look up. Nothing serious, just a bit rough, and I couldn’t get to the blog. I am back and wanted to share this free plural noun activity.
I’ve been looking at different grammar and phonics things I want to work on with Annabelle. As I was working with her on her writing, I knew I wanted to cover plural nouns, which can be really confusing. Sometimes you add an s, sometimes and es, but then sometimes you change the y to an i and add es.
So I created this simple matching activity. To use them simply print up the sheets, laminate if desired, and cut apart the words and endings. Then have your child (or students) make the correct matches. Annabelle and I are also working on creating an anchor chart to show which nouns get which endings.
A short and sweet post today. Since I am homeschooling Annabelle, there may be some more educationally posts on the blog in the future. I will try to keep recipes and DIYs in the loop too, but more of my focus is on teaching Annabelle. At any rate, I hope that you find this noun activity useful! Have a fabulous day!
