January Recap

How on earth is it already February?!  It really does seem like Christmas just happened, and now we are gearing up for Valentine’s Day.

I decided I would look back on my goals to see how I’m doing.

Blog:
~ Blog two-three times a week
~ Create a button for my blog (for reals this time)
~ Have two-three posts a month be Pintrest worthy pins
~ Grow my Instagram followers
~ Grow my Twitter follower
~ Interact more with other on Instagram/ Twitter
~ Create a PR tab
~ Reach out to companies to see if they work with bloggers
~ Use google analytics to help improve my blog
~ Post a recipe once a month
~ Post  a learning activity twice a month
~ Increase traffic by really participating in link ups.

So, January got off to a bit of a rough start.  I have been blogging two-ish times a week for the most part.

I did create a few posts that I pinned to Pintrest, so I’m good in that department.

My Instagram and Twitter followers have grown as well, although I’d love for them to keep growing.  I totally forgot to write down what there were before, so I can’t say be how much.

Personal:
~Start working out again
~ Use MyFitness Pal again
~Attempt to keep house uncluttered
~Start doing more “school” activities with Annabelle

So, I have finally started working out again.  It took a bit longer for me to recover from this c-section than with Annabelle (with Annabelle I ran a 5k 3 months after having her).  It’s way harder to work out when there are two kids to worry about. I have been doing Bikini Body Mommy since I can do it at home, and it incorperates both cardio and strength.  After 15 days I have already lost some inches, so I’m happy. I think I’ll see more success once I start tracking what I eat.

Etsy:
~Revamp look
~Add new selections
~Possible add pre-made items

I have added a few now things to my store, and am planning on adding some more soon.  I  have also been working on a new banner.

I realize this is starting to be quite a long post, and not exactly the most exciting, but I’m hoping by posting it, I’ll be a bit more accountable.

For the month February I wanted to break down my blogging goals a bit more.

Blog:
~ Blog two-three times a week
~ Create a button for my blog (for reals this time)
~ Have two-three posts a month be Pintrest worthy pins
~ Grow my Instagram followers to 75 (I currently have 60).
~ Grow my Twitter follower to 145 (I currently have 132)
~ Interact more with other on Instagram/ Twitter

So there you have it.  I hope I didn’t bore you all too much, I swear I’ll get back to my regularly scheduled fun posts. I have another Valentine’s Day craft to post, and I’ve been working on the next part in my photo series. 🙂
