Thanksgiving Blocks

/

Can you believe that that October is already over?!  Now that November is here, it is time to talk Thanksgiving!  These blocks are a great addition to any Thanksgiving decor.  Bonus?  You can make them reversible for Christmas!

Here is how you can make these blocks.

Step One:
Cut your blocks.  Here are the sizes I used:
Two: 3 1/2 x 6 ( T and S)
T0wo: 3 1/2 X 4 1/2 (h and k)
Two: 3 1/2 X 3 (a and n)
One: 7 X 3 1/2 (give)

Step Two:
Paint the blocks white.  Let them dry, then sand the edges a bit.

Step Three:
Cut your scrapbook paper and glue onto the blocks (I used rubber cement).  I cut the scrapbook paper just a bit smaller than the block of wood.  Here are the sizes I used:
One: 6 3/4 x 3
Two: 3 x 5 3/4
Two: 3 x 4 1/4
Two: 3 x 2 3/4

Step Four:
Cut out your letters and glue onto the blocks.  Then apply a few coats of modge podge.

Step Five:
Display wherever you would like and enjoy!

Linking up with some great parties!
