Hot Mulled Apple Cider Sangria in Crock Pot

You guys, I have a confession.  I have had the idea for this recipe since early summer.  Early summer!  I have been counting down the days until I could get my hands on some apple cider from the cider mill.

Well friends, that happened on Tuesday, and on Saturday I whipped up this delightfully yummy drink.

Hot mulled apple cider sangria made in the crockpot. This recipe used white wine (moscato) and is ready pretty quickly.

Mulled. Apple. Cider. Sangria.

Seriously it is so tasty.  Even the hubs thought so!

What makes this recipe a little different is that it is made with moscato (Barefoot, nothing fancy here), not red wine.  Apple cider just seems like it pairs better with a white wine, so that’s what I did.  Since the moscato and cider are both pretty sweet I added a bit of brandy as well.   Other than the liquids I added some cloves, cinnamon sticks, an apple and a bit of an orange peel.  I threw it all in the crockpot and cooked it on low for about an hour and half.

The result was everything I could have hoped for!

It’s so easy to make, it would be great to serve at a party, or make just because.  All you have to do is through everything in the crockpot.
