Can you believe that Christmas is in five weeks? It definitely snuck up on me, and I need to start getting my booty in gear to buy presents. Today I wanted to share a few electronic free gift guides for kids with you.
Now, my kids have a fair amount of electronic toys, but do you know what I’ve noticed?
Over and over they will go for the non-tech toys.
They pick the Paw Patrol figures or the barbies. They bust out the markers and scissors and choose to create something. It’s the non-electronic toys help encourage free play which is so super important in childhood.
So here are my picks. I’ve broken it up into three separate guides; babies (ages 0-2), toddlers/preschool (ages 2-5), Elementary aged (6+). Each guide is on a separate page (babies is page 1, toddlers/preschool page 2, and elementary page 3) so that it’s not overwhelming. You can either click the links above, or you can find the page numbers at the bottom of each page on the right side.
I hope that this gives you some inspiration this holiday season!

ELECTRONIC FREE GIFT GUIDE FOR BABY
{1} Robeeze Soft Soled Shoes: so I know that these aren’t really a toy, but I love these shoes so much! I’ve used them for all of my kids and they hold up so well. They have lots of different designs to be sure to check them out.
{2} EXPZ Mat: another non-toy item, but I have heard amazing things about it, so it’s on Aubrie’s list. 😉 We are doing baby led weaning which means things can get messy. I love that this mat has different sections, and I’ve read that it stays put.
{3} Grabease Baby Spoons: Ok, last non-toy item. Like I said earlier we are doing baby led weaning with Aubrie. These spoons make it so easy for her to get the food to her mouth on her own.
{4}Fat Toys Tobbles: I love that these are a bit different than your normal stacking toys. My girls love to build towers with them, and Aubrie finds it hilarious to knock them down.
{5} Board Books: does it surprise you that the former teacher has books on the list? 😉 While babies may not sit and actually listen to a whole books it’s so important to start reading to them early.
{6} Mega Blocks: my girls have always loved building with mega blocks. They often create building for their barbies, PJ Masks or stuffed animals. I love watching them use their imagination to freely create.
{7} Toy Cars: Aubrie loves watching things roll right now. I know in a few more months she’ll start playing more with these sorts of toys, and working on cause and effect.
{8}Activity Cube: These cubes have so much for your little one to explore. They can play with it sitting down, then use it when they start pulling themselves up to standing.
{9} Baby Stella Baby Doll: This plush doll is a great choice as a first baby doll. If you are giving it to a young baby who still puts everything in their mouth you may want to take of the magnetic binkie.
{10} Music toys: so this may be only for the brave parents out there ;). But all my kids loved banging toys on the floor and table, so I figured might as well given them something that purpose was to be hit.
