Starting the Day with Café Bustelo

**This post was sponsored by Café Bustelo® as part of an Influence Central campaign and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.**

I love starting my morning off with a hot cup of coffee. I know it sounds super basic, but hey, it’s true. It doesn’t matter if it’s summer or winter, the first thing I do in the morning is brew a pot and enjoy the aromas before taking that amazing first sip. Since I tend to brew most of my coffee at home (as opposed to going out and buying a cup) I am always on the look for new brands to try.

#ad Are you looking for a new coffee to try? Cafe Bustelo is a great choice! Plus, get the recipe for a homemade salted caramel mocha.

Last weekend I was at Meijer doing some shopping. I know whenever I go there that I will find what I am looking for. Not only do they have an amazing grocery section, but you can also find household items, dishes, and clothes. It’s great to have a store that has so many quality products available.  Plus, with their mPerks program I save money on every trip. Totally a win-win!

While I was there I discovered Café Bustelo®, a high quality, Hispanic coffee.  Did you know that this month is Hispanic Heritage month?  My husband is 1/4 Hispanic, so I decided pick up a can of ground coffee to try it (although I would have tried it even if we weren’t any part Hispanic). I was even able to get $1 off a Café Bustelo product (excludes instant) using mPerks. Click here to get your $1 off. The offer is good until 10/14, so be sure not miss it! You can also find the coffee in whole bean, brick, and instant so there is something for everyone!

When I got home, I couldn’t wait to try it out, so I brewed myself a cup. Friends, I was so impressed this coffee! The first thing I noticed was how finely it was ground.

The next thing I noticed was the taste.  I mean I’m not exactly a coffee connoisseur, but I enjoy a good cup of joe. There was a huge difference between Café Bustelo and the other ground coffee I have tried. It was rich and full bodied, but not too bold for my liking. I am not a drink it black type of girl, so my coffee always includes milk and sugar. Even with the milk and sugar, the taste was still fabulous, and I knew that this would be a great choice to create my own salted caramel mocha at home!

Now I know that pumpkin spice is all the rage, but as you know if you read this blog regularly, that is not my cup of tea coffee. Salted caramel on the other hand, I am all about. Did you know it is super easy to create your own mocha at home? It’s super easy to do with Café Bustelo, simple check out the recipe below! Don’t forget, if you are near a Meijer, check out the mPerks offer!
