Halloween Home Tour 2019

Phew, we made it to Friday! I don’t know about you but this week was soooooo long! Between working in Autumn’s classroom, a doctor’s appointment, and just all the errands I felt like I was running around all week!

Although my Halloween decor isn’t quite as extensive as Christmas I figured I would share what I did.

Mantel

Nothing too fancy for my mantel. Since it is still football season I had to keep up some of the MSU stuff (even if they aren’t doing all that great). I got the black netting from the dollar store, and it works great! I wanted to pick up a few more, but by the time I went back, the Christmas stuff was already going up!

The strand of pumpkins is actually from Matt’s childhood, and while the lights no longer work ( 🙁 ) I think they look cute as garland. I made the Trick or Treat Sign (pre silhouette days, maybe next year I’ll update that), as well as the crochet pumpkins.

Front Hall

I threw a white plastic table cloth on the table in the front hall. I then used a spiderweb table runner I bought on major sale last year. I topped that with lights (once again a end of the season sale), real pumpkins, and a few other pieces of Halloween decor that I have collected over the years. The new addition were the bats and moon. I think it adds just the right amount of spooky. 😉

And although you can’t see, I have a very simple tulle tassel garland going around the stairs. What I would love is some black garland ( like the Christmas garland, but black). I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled at the sales this year.

Bathroom

More lights in the bathroom (they were on major sale, so I bought a few boxes). Then just a little spider candle holder in the corner.

I also made these witch legs to hang on the door.

Kitchen

More lights around the window in the kitchen!

Along with some window clings… some that are from when I was a kid!

And just because I want to show off my girl’s costumes!

What about you? Do you decorate for Halloween? Or do you stick with a fall theme?
