$10 Target Challenge [May]

This has easily become one of my favorite link ups to participate in.  I love heading to Target to check out what kind of deals I can find.

This month was pretty low key in terms of what I bought.  I wasn’t able to find any maginficant, knock your socks off savings, but came away with some great stuff.

One of these days I’ll actually remember to take pictures at Target while I figure out what to buy.  Well maybe I will… mom brain is strong with this one…

So what did I end up buying?

Some cute placemats and a shirt.  Full disclosure, we haven’t had place mats on the table since Easter time.  We have some generic yellow ones we use during non-holiday time, but I just didn’t want to get them.  I saw these place mats and fell in love.  The color is great (and really pops on our black table).  I wasn’t so sure I’d like the plastic ones (our other ones are cloth) but at $2 a piece I figured why not.

I also picked myself up a shirt from the clearance section.

I have been trying to find more nursing friendly shirts, and luckily this one will work.  Since I wear nursing tank tops under everything, I wanted a shirt that allowed “easy access” to the girls (if ya know what I mean 😉 ).  The v- neck design of it worked well.  So if it ever starts to warm up (seriously, it snowed here yesterday.  SNOW!) I’ll have a fun new shirt to wear.

My total came in at $8.99… totally should have thrown some candy in too!

Well there you have it, my haul for May. Check out what I got in February , March, and April.
