Weekend Recap

I hope that everyone had a fun and restful weekend. It’s hard to believe that Christmas is only four days away!  Where on earth did all the time go?

We had a lot of fun this weekend.

On Saturday my mom came over to bake a batch of Christmas cookies.  We decided to make snickerdoodles.

I loved seeing my mom and Annabelle baking together.

The recipe is from my mom, and I really don’t know the source.

Here is the recipe:

Super easy, and really yummy!

On Sunday Annabelle, Autumn and I headed over to my friend,  Abbey’s parents’ house for our third annual friends brunch.

Stacy, Abbey, myself, Stacy’s kids, my kids

We hang out, eat crepes (made by Abbey’s dad) and catch up.  I’ve been friends with Abbey since we were six.  Abbey became friends with Stacy in middle school, I really didn’t get to know her well until high school (where we played clarinet in marching band).

Abbey’s mom enjoyed reading the little a story while we all caught up.

By the way… have you ever tried getting a picture of three toddlers?

  Not an easy task.

It was a busy but fun weekend! 🙂
