It’s hard for me to believe that next month Annabelle will be starting Kindergarten. She is so excited to go to school, learn, make friends, and of course talk to everyone. I really don’t have any major fears about how she will adjust socially and academically. I know that she will take to kindergarten like a fish to water.
One thing I have started worrying about is lunch. See, Annabelle is a bit of a picky eater. Though she has come a long way in the past few years, she still only eats a small variety of food for lunch. Her go-to is usually peanut butter and crackers, but due to allergies in school, I know that I’ll have to save those for the weekend. So, in a effort to prepare her for Kindergarten lunch I’ve been making her try new things at home this summer. One idea I came up with was a California turkey club slider made with Pepperidge Farm® Bakery Classics Slider Buns.
I am happy to say that as soon as Annabelle took a bit she exclaimed “this is so yummy! Can you make this again?!” Parenting score for sure! Pepperidge Farm® Bakery Classics Slider Buns are a great size for you child’s hands, and the variety of flavors will satisfy all. I also know I can trust them, as Pepperidge Farm® Bakery Classics uses premium ingredients and stand for quality.
Making this sandwich is super simple
Start with your favorite Pepperidge Farm® Bakery Classics Slider Buns, then add turkey lunch meat.
Next, place some ham on top.
Then add a slice of avocado.
Next, add some bacon.
Finally, top that with provolone cheese.
Then put the top bun on and enjoy!
See how easy that was?? A simple and fun lunch that your child will love, thanks to easy to hold slider buns from Pepperidge Farm®. Annabelle had a smile on her face the whole time she was eating this! And you know what, I thought they were pretty tasty too!
What about you? What kind of slider would your child love to bring to school??
