Today I am linking up with Keri for her clear up the clutter challenge! The theme this Monday is closets. I don’t know about you, but my closest tend to get super messy super fast. One way I have found to help organize them, and keep them in relatively decent order is storage containers. Simple, cheap, plastic storage containers. And labels. If you read to the end of the post I’ve even got a little somethin’ for you!
Last year I had enough with linen closet. Everything was always all over the place, and I could never find anything. So I went to the dollar store and bought cheap plastic containers. And guess what? A year later and they have actually worked at keeping things pretty tidy.
So how do I have everything organized?
All the little things are contained on a shelf, and I have plenty of space for all our towels and sheets. Yesterday I went through the bins and tossed some medicine cups and syringes, and just made sure everything was in the right place. Then I added labels to the bins. The great thing about plastic containers it that you can just slip the labels right into the bin. Now it will be super easy to find everything.
Sharing my #tips for #closet #organization on the blog today. Click To TweetOur front closet downstairs was also pretty bad. We have a lot of wasted space that I one day hope to fix, but until then I am utilizing my storage bin idea again. This time I bought larger bins to put all the extra hat, gloves, scarves, and other items in. I am then able to stack the bins on top of each other so that space isn’t wasted.
Now if you are thinking to yourself, wow Danielle! I love those labels, you are in luck! I’ve got a five page PDF printable of the small labels for you. But, if you want more, you can sign up for my e-mail and get access to a 30 page file with small, medium, and large labels (plus blank ones), in black, orange, green, blue, and purple. To sign up, either use the space on the side bar.
After signing up, you will get an email with a link and a password that will give you access to the 30 page PDF file. I hope that if you do decide to sign up, you will find all the labels super useful!
