Today I thought I’d do a little recap of our weekend. It was a busy one, and this upcoming weekend will be even busier since it’s already Christmas (?!?).
FRIDAY
Friday started off hauling the girls back to the doctor’s since Autumn has a cough that just won’t quit. Thankfully it’s just a bad cold, but I feel so bad for her. From there we hustled our booties to get to preschool (where I forgot show and tell for the letter H, thankfully Annabelle had a fun hat, so that worked).
While Autumn was napping Annabelle and I finally finished up her gingerbread house.
SATURDAY
On Saturday we headed to my friend’s mom’s house. I’ve know her since we were six, and I love that we have remained so close. Our other friend (who we met in middle school) and her two kids also took part in the festivities (as always). Annabelle and her twins are about the same age, so it’s fun watching them play together. We’ve been doing this since Annabelle was born, and I just love it!
The rest of the day was spent just chilling at home.
SUNDAY
On Sunday the girls and I headed to another brunch at our neighbor’s house. We made two more gingerbread houses to decorate (I learned some things from our first one, like melted marshmallows work amazing as glue to hold the house together, seriously, game changer). There were so many kids and families there, I loved it! Plus she had mimosas, so there’s that too.
I also crocheted up a few goodies, but you’ll have to wait a bit until I show you what they are! 🙂
The rest of the day was spent trying to get caught up on chores. But are our Christmas cards out yet? Nope.
All in all it was a fabulous weekend!
