**I have partnered with Ben the Rooster for this post. I was provided the holiday cards in exchange for my honest opinion. All thoughts and comments are my own.**
So, I know that we haven’t yet celebrated Halloween, but my mind is already starting to drift to Christmas. I know to some of you I may be a little crazy, but to others (a.k.a my people), you get were I am coming from. Once the holiday season hit, things get busy fast, and before you know it, it’s week before Christmas and you need to send out cards.
This year I decided to get a head start on the game, and have Annabelle design her own cards through Ben the Rooster’s paper shop. You can check out that post where Annabelle designs the cards here. It was really easy to do, plus with every set of holiday cards that are purchased, a Title I classroom receives a subscription to Ben’s Classroom Pen Pal Unit!
Over the weekend the cards came in the mail and they turned out great!
I tried to take a very hands off approach when Annabelle designed her cards. We talked about what kinds of things you may see around Christmas time, and we came up with Santa, snow, and sledding. I did add the Ho! Ho! Ho! (so you knew that the person was supposed to be Santa Clause), and the Merry Christmas. But other than that it was all her. If you were curious, she drew a picture of her sledding down a hill, a snowman, and then of course, Santa.
I also love the detail on the back of the card, where it says that the card was designed by Annabelle. Envelopes are also included, so no fretting about needed to buy them!
So, what are you waiting for? Head on over to Ben the Rooster’s paper shop and let your little one (or big one) design their own card!
